Harmony Of A Hunter is a multi-part album consisting of remixes covering the entirety of the Metroid series, from a variety of different musicians, myself included. FIVE discs worth of music here which can be downloaded for free or shipped on disc format at:

Beyond The Glass Source Track Maridia Open Water

This is my Maridia remix, and accompanying music video. The 3D animation was a long time in the making, and very difficult to finish. Also fully rendered in 720p HD. I took a bit of a departure from the game song, and tried to create something a bit darker and more ominous with this. Also, download the HIGHER QUALITY VIDEO here :)
Into The Green World Source Track Brinstar Green Area

Brinstar Green was always one of my favorite tracks in Super Metroid, and I was happy to give it the remix treatment. I also took it a step further by creating a CG animated intro scene for it, as shown in the vid below. It was a lot of work- about 5 months worth to be exact, but it turned out pretty cool I think. Maybe next time, I'll be able to make something a bit longer, which is what I originally envisioned. But for now, enjoy :)

Mission Complete- Ending Suite Source Tracks Metroid Series Ending Themes
|
This was a tough piece to compose, being a medley of the endings of Metroid, Metroid II, Super Metroid, and Metroid Fusion. It's more of a traditional orchestral suite, with a lot of variety in mood and setting. My goal was a realistic symphonic feel, no easy task.

The Crimson Depths Source Track Kraid's Lair & Red Soil
|
I made this one on a whim because I thought it would be cool to combine the ubiquitous Kraid's Lair theme from the original game with the one from Super Metroid, Red Soil. The track sorta builds from a more distant and atmospheric vibe to something more intense, conveying a sense of getting closer and closer to the giant reptilian beast that awaits.

The Crimson Depths Improv Before I compose a song, I usually sit down and play around with different themes and plan out how I want the piece to flow. I find this especially important for a remix, as the original themes need to be presented in a neat and intelligent way. I usually record these sessions as a kind of visual notebook, so I can pick through parts I liked or didn't like afterward. This is my brainstorming for The Crimson Depths. |

Kirby Superstar & Zelda Improv This is one of the things I do when I'm bored... sit and play with video game tunes. I had long considered doing a really big medley of my favorite Nintendo game themes, but this is an improvised mix of Kirby and Zelda music.
One day I may still compose a full remix. |

Jurassic Park Improv I was in the mood to play around with one of my all time favorite movie scores. This was one of the first times I really fell in love with movie music when I was a kid, and was inspired to compose my own some day.
Few movies today really have the same kind of magic that they used to. Now I sound like an old man, hehe. *cries* |
